At its heart lies a charming tale of love and music. Our protagonist, simply known as "Boyfriend", The Boyfriend(bf) and his Girlfriend(gf) are dating,finds himself in a musical showdown with his girlfriend's father, a former rockstar with high standards. What begins as a simple parental challenge evolves into an epic journey through five distinct "weeks" of musical battles.

Each week brings new challenges and characters: from the spooky duo Skid and Pump in Week 2, to the legendary Newgrounds icon Pico in Week 3. The story takes an interesting turn in Week 4 when Girlfriend's mother enters the scene, bringing her own high-energy, note-dense challenges. The narrative reaches a thrilling climax in Week 5, where both parents orchestrate a Christmas-themed showdown, only to be interrupted by a mysterious lemon-headed monster with sinister intentions!

FNF offers an intuitive yet challenging rhythm-based gameplay experience. Players guide Boyfriend through musical battles using arrow keys or WASD controls, matching patterns in perfect synchronization with the music. Each week presents three distinctive songs, available in three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. For those seeking the ultimate challenge, selected tracks feature special "Erect" and "Nightmare" difficulties.
